LCC Golf Update: Northeastern
The Lamar Community College Golf team recently returned from tournament play at Northeastern Junior College.
Josh Lovett led the Lopes in the tournament, tying for 10th place with a two-day score of 151. Jeremy Minnick tied for 26th place a score of 178. Matt Palmer finished a few places behind in 29th place with a score of 197.
LCC Individual Results: tied for 10th place - Josh Lovett, 75-76-151; tied for 26th place - Jeremy Minnick, 86-92-178; 29th place - Matt Palmer, 105-92-197.
McCook won the tournament with a team score of 595, followed closely by Eastern Wyoming in second with 599. Southeast finished third with 602, Otero finished fourth with 617, and Northeastern in fifth with 724.
The Runnin' Lopes Golf team competes next at the Eastern Wyoming College tournament held in Torrington, Wyoming, on April 21-22.
