LCC Golf Hosts Spring Tournament

The Lamar Community College Golf team hosted their annual spring tournament on Thursday and Friday, March 31 and April 1, at the Spreading Antlers Golf Course. 

Josh Lovett led the Lopes in the tournament, finishing in 5^th place with a two-day score of 151.  Jeremy Minnick followed with a 6^th place finish and a score of 153.  Matt Palmer finished with a no score.

LCC Individual Results: 5^th place - Josh Lovett, 74-77-151; 6^th place - Jeremy Minnick, 72-81-153; Matt Palmer, 98-n/c.

Eastern Wyoming won the tournament with a team score of 608, followed closely by McCook in second with 613.  Otero finished in third with 642 and Northeastern in fourth with 707.

The Runnin' Lopes Golf team travels to McCook Community College next on April 7-8.
