Lopes Golf plagued by illness

The Lamar Community College men's golf team struggled to compete well in the second tournament of the fall season held September 13-14 at Eastern Wyoming College.

Eastern Wyoming College won the tournament with a score of 581 (+5), followed by McCook 597 (+21) and Central Wyoming 635 (+59).  Northeastern Junior College took fourth with 647 (+71), Otero came in fifth with 656 (+80), and Lamar posted a Did Not Finish.

The team will work to regroup and recover this week before traveling to Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado, on September 20-21.
