WHITE OUT for LCC Basketball

On Monday, February 22, there will be a WHITE OUT at Lamar Community College as the Runnin' Lopes take on Northeastern Junior College.  This is the last home game of the 2015-2016 season.

Everyone is encouraged to come to the Wellness Center in their white gear and support the Lopes.  Admission for the game is only $2.00 for anyone wearing white.  Additionally, the first 200 people to each game who pay full admission will receive a white LCC Basketball t-shirt. Tip-off for the women's game is set for 5:00pm, followed by the men's game at 7:00.

This game is not only a White Out, but also the basketball teams' sophomore night.  Each team will recognize its sophomores in the last home game of their LCC career.

The Runnin' Lopes Booster Club will also take time at the halftime of the men's game to honor local coach Manuel Gonzales.  As part of this honor, anyone wearing Granada apparel or colors will also gain free entry into the games.

Manuel Gonzales has been a coach at Granada High School for 42 years.  He has coached football, basketball, baseball and track, earning state championships in football, basketball and baseball.  He has received many honors during his career and, most recently, was inducted into the CHSAA Hall of Fame in early 2014.
