Four Lopes baseball players sign with universities

Four Lamar Community College baseball players recently signed to play at the NCAA Division II level.

Keven Mackintosh, a left-handed pitcher from Aurora, Colorado, signed with Montana State University-Billings. Mackintosh has made 10 starts and two relief apprearances thus far in the 2018 season. He holds a 4.13 ERA and 56 strikeouts through 48 innings.

Christian Manmano, a right-handed pitcher from Parker, Colorado, has committed to Univiersty of Colorado Colrado Springs. Manmano has struck out 37 in 33 innings pitched and has a 6.55 ERA over seven starts and two relief appearances.

Stone Romero, a catcher from Albuquerque, New Mexico, signed with Colorado State University Pueblo. Romero boasts a .341 average and a .415 on-base percentage to go with one home run, 14 RBI and 14 runs in 95 plate appearances. 

Andrew Coverly, a right-handed pitcher from Centennial, Colorado, also signed with CSU Pueblo. Coverly has 48 strikeouts in 37.1 innings to go with a 3.13 ERA in five starts and nine relief appearances.
